Proofreading and Editing
Proofreading and editing services are available for manuscripts in all genres in the form of novels, novellas, short stories, essays, research papers, theses, articles, or reports.
The average turnaround time for proofreading any work is between three and four days from the receipt of the manuscript. Turnaround time may vary slightly based on the length of the manuscript and you will be informed accordingly. I will put all of my effort into reaching turnaround deadlines and you can be sure to believe in the projected timeframe. The quality of the work is of utmost importance to me and no proofreading project will sacrifice quality for the sake of turnaround.
Projects that require a turnaround time of less than two days are possible but will incur additional charges in order to accommodate the request. There is a minimum charge of $20 for all projects, regardless of length.
Rates
Up to 25,000 words: $4.50 per 1,000 words
25,000 words up to 100,000 words: $3.50 per 1,000 words
100,000+ words: $3.00 per 1,000 words
Turnaround time of two days or less: $6.00 per 1,000 words
All rates are determined after rounding up to the nearest 1,000 words.
Payment will be required upon acceptance of the project and receipt of the manuscript.
Writing
I am available for freelance and ongoing writing projects in the form of articles, reports, short stories, novellas, and novels. I am accustomed to writing in a wide range of genres, including both fiction and non-fiction. Co-writing and co-authoring projects are also welcome as I look forward to working with other creators to craft engaging texts.
There are no set rates for writing services as I cannot accurately determine the nature of all projects that could be brought to me. Compensation will be determined during the approval and acceptance of the project and will certainly be negotiable between myself and the employer.
Writing projects that are determined to be assignments for a University, College, school, or any other teaching institution will not be accepted as this is plagiarism. For proofreading/editing of school assignments, please see the top of the page.
